"I did," Ishiah confirms with a slight nod. Although usually inclined to keep matters as narrow as possible, Ishiah feels that he understands Castiel's motivations well enough to trust him, almost as much as he would the brothers he's known well in his life. Castiel is family, and that means entrusting him with what he needs to take care of those he loves.
"I'm sorry that I wasn't there to help through the entire ordeal," he adds, gaze dropping to the ground. "It's my hope to be more vigilant in the future, but I haven't yet determined what it was that kept Robin and myself away. Perhaps it's something not within my power to fight as I am now."
