There's a muted sort of surprise that registers on Ishiah's face when Castiel makes his confession, although it quickly fades into a much more knowing look. It was also a disaster of sorts which made Ishiah open to considering Robin's presence in his life, welcoming it in spite of how unnatural it seemed to most others for their kinds to get along. And it was similarly after another close call that they finally came together as partners. None of their concrete steps have been easy, even though in some ways, their partnership feels as simple to Ishiah as breathing.

"I hope that you are communicating with one another carefully and thoroughly where your relationship is concerned," Ishiah says first, his eyes full of concern. "But yes, of course I would be amenable to continuing our practices. That won't be a problem."
