"He was in here," Ishiah confirms with a nod, noting the reluctance in Rin's tone, as though not entirely pleased to hear of his brother's intervention. Not unlike the way Caliban used to react when Niko was too protective on his behalf, though Caliban would usually retaliate right away if in a mood.

Ishiah doesn't expect the same behavior from Rin.

"He didn't ask me about you, although I'm not sure what exactly he spoke with Robin about. The owner of the shop," Ishiah reminds, in case the name slips Rin's mind. "I think he was more immediately interested in assessing my abilities; he certainly noticed that I'm not human, though by what means, I'm not sure. Behavior, potentially."

His brows furrow.
