"That green-eyed creep happens to be a dear friend of your girlfriend's," Ishiah points out, firm without being overly alarmist. It's not like Robin would fight the image of being a creep much. There are worse insults to pass in his direction, claims that would bother him much more than an acknowledgment of the lurking his entire life was once shaped around.

What follows confirms Ishiah's suspicions. If anything, Rin's brother had a personality of a sort Ishiah is the most understanding of, that being a calculating and unyielding character with strong convictions. With Semele's far from being the only establishment in Darrow where information circulates, Ishiah believes that it's much more likely Yukio picked the place after having realized Rin spent a fair amount of time there. It allows him, Ishiah imagines, to get information about the city and his brother in one fell swoop.

"You've described your emotions as being relieved twice now," Ishiah says, arching a brow. "A far cry from being happy, or grateful. You're not trying very hard to use a positive expression, either."
